To create your new mysql database, login to hostrocket control panel, and go to mysql manager. Give a name to you new database and click the add database. If you want remote access mysql database, you will need to grant remote access from mysql manager. At the ‘access host’ you need to enter the ip address of the machine that is going to connect to the hostrocket mysql database. Or you can just allow any IP address to login to the mysql by entering the ‘%’ as wildcard that accept any user IP. As long their login information is correct, the access will be granted.
PhpMyAdmin is also provided, and you can use this web GUI tool to access and modify database tables and data. There is a shortcut that you use http://yourdomain.com/phpmyadmin … and you will be redirected to your domain phpmyadmin login page. Enter the login information and go into the database.
